TWD-Milk Chocolate Mini Bundt Cakes

This week's Tuesday's with Dorie recipe, Milk Chocolate Mini Bundt Cakes, was chosen by Kristin.

You can find the recipe on her blog, I'm Right About Everything or HERE from my post about these mini bundts when I made them a little over a year ago.
I made mini, mini bundts. Meaning I used one of those pans that has 12 mini bundt molds.
I remember these being very good.
A couple of them crumbled a little bit, from the nutty-sugar swirl that is in the middle, but I remember that we ate the crumbs of the crumbly ones anyway.

I had a problem with the glaze, but it sounded like many people had the same problem. Mine wasn't pourable at all. Someone mentioned there might have been a little bit too much corn syrup in the glaze.

Go check out the TWD Blogroll to see who else enjoyed these little bundt cakes!

They look very nice! I just loved making the minis, have to remember to do that more often. Guys liked having their own little cakes also. I didn't have a clue as to what to do about the icing so I just added more corn syrup and it seemed to work fine. Well, as fine as it could be with my very limited talents in the drizzling skills department.

I also thought this recipe was delish. I read about the drizzle dilemma so I went with a yummy chocolate ganache. I love your mini, mini pan. So fun!

My entire little mini cake wants to separate, just where the swirl is. Strange. Looks good!

I need to go back and make these. Your mini-mini bundts look wonderful. Glad to know they were tasty. Even the crumbly ones. :P

Now I wish I had tried the glaze - yours looks great all dolloped on top! (I know, it was supposed to be a drizzle.)

Mini mini bundts? That's a pan I might need to own! After seeing all the problems people had with the glaze, I'm glad I didn't attempt it. The cook has to eat the crumby crumbs. It's a rule in the back of the book. :-)

I didn't do the swirl and mine were still very crumbly. Delicious but crumbly. Great job on your bundts. They look fabulous!

Maybe your glaze wasn't pourable but dang it looks good! I wish I had made the glaze. Great job.

Oooh, pretty! Your mini bundts look like they're wearing little halos :) I couldn't figure out what the heck went wrong with this glaze - interesting to hear it might actually be a case of too much corn syrup. In any case, I'll definitely skip the glaze next time.

VERY nice looking mini's! Funny, mine crumbled because of the swirl too, but they were so good WITH it! And you glaze looks very thick, rich and wonderful! Beautiful!
